Two Brady Associates Earn Energy Manager Certification

GREENSBORO, N.C. (December 27, 2010) — Brady (www.bradyservices.com), a company that provides energy systems and comprehensive building solutions for commercial and industrial facilities across North Carolina, announces today Joe Latore and Steve Osborne have earned certification from the Association of Energy Engineers.


Latore has been with Brady for 2 years. He serves as controls sales engineer for the Raleigh office. Osborne has been with Brady for 3 years. He serves as controls and mechanical systems engineer for the Greensboro office. With their certifications they will be able to provide the customers with more energy focused solutions for their buildings.

Certified Energy Manager® is the standard for qualifying energy professionals worldwide. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Office of Federal Energy Management Programs, the U.S. Agency for International Development, as well as by numerous state energy offices, major utilities, corporations and energy service companies.

Candidates for certification must have more than seven years of combined education and experience in energy engineering or energy management. In addition to attending a CEM® training seminar, candidates are required to pass a four-hour exam covering:
